Since JP graphic files are traditionally of rather large size, the possibility to reduce the size of files transferred to ship via e-mail offers considerable cost savings on data communication costs, also making JP corrections immediately available onboard.

All JP data is strongly compressed and available onboard as a part of weekly update or on request.
